Pineapple Extract Bromelain


Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme extracted from pineapple. The broad substrate specificity of bromelain enables the enzyme to easily and efficiently hydrolyze most soluble proteins. Bromelain is best known as a digestive aid and for its anti-inflammatory effects in traumatic injuries and after surgery.
Pineapple extract bromelain is light yellow or light gray powder with pineapple enzyme-specific odor.
